I never really saw myself as a “girlie girl” but I like femininity, I don’t like wearing pink and at the age of 29 I decided to cut my hair off.

New appreciation for my body

Since having bub I haven't felt comfortable in my own skin, I still have a bit of the baby weight on despite trying to lose it. I love that my body created my son and I've got the stretch marks from it. I just wanted to find a new appreciation for my body.

I am 53

I have emotional and physical scars, I have wrinkles and marks on my body, and there are other parts of myself that I have learned to accept as a part of my life story, I may not like to have them however acceptance is the key to liberation.

I'm excited to share my story in the hopes that maybe other women who have experienced a mastectomy or similar surgery could be empowered to do something like this for themselves or at the very least, see that you can still be sexy with scars or weird boobs.
