Boudoir on the cliffs

Being an entertainer, I am quite comfortable in front of a camera already, and I enjoy getting my picture taken 🙂. However, part of being a performer means that I mostly am playing a character for other people. Aspects of my body and my personality are often highlighted more than others. It was exciting to have an opportunity to be in control of how I wanted to be presented in these photographs with Marina. I wanted to see myself as powerful and badass, as opposed to gentle and delicate like I am usually depicted. Marina and I discussed this and we decided to shoot on the cliffs and give a kind of apocalyptic vibe for my inner super-hero. Marina put in so much effort preparing for the shoot for me, sending ideas for outfits and locations and she even made me my own cape/wings ❤️. Marina made me feel totally comfortable in all states of dress and undress, she is an experienced and encouraging photographer (and person). I was buzzing planning the shoot, during the shoot and after the shoot. And it was the most exciting getting to see the images for the first time! Marina had added personal touches to make the experience all the more special so I could really soak in the moment of seeing myself in my beautiful, powerful glory ❤️. I would love to do this again, and I think everyone should have a boudoir shoot at least once in their lives! Everyone has their own perceptions of themselves and how they look, and it is such a moving moment to get to see oneself as the beautiful creation that you are! And Marina can take you there.
