To shave or not to shave?

If you would go on my Facebook profile under my name, you will find a short blurb: 'I am a boudoir photographer challenging societies perception of beauty and perfection.'

What perceptions have I been challenging in the last few years?

I started with the perception that beauty is flawless: I don't think so. I believe beauty can not be defined by perfection.

I also don't believe that beauty is forever young. Beauty comes in many sizes and shapes.

If we look throughout history, we will find that women have endured humiliation and pain trying to keep up with beauty standards. X-Ray hair removal, lead-based make-up, and body mutilation in the name of beauty - only to name a few.

So my next project is about women and body hair.

To shave or not to shave?

I am looking for women who are embracing their natural body hair.
