Do it for YOU!

What is your story?

Hi my name is Kristie. I'm the girl who struggles with her identity, where she belongs in the world and where is home. As well as severe anxiety and depression but I will keep fighting to survive what feels like the whole world.

I own my own business selling ice cream - ‘the soft spot’. It's been a dream of mine since I was a child. During this process, of starting my dream I wanted to meet stronger women in business. I came across Marina by chance. I've been going through really dark times as my truck Gary hasn't also been smooth sailing and I'm still processing through it but i hope that one day my perseverance will shine through and I can share my joy with the world.

I wanted to do this shoot for a self-discovery and push my limits.

Why did you want to do a boudoir shoot?

I wanted to challenge myself. I wanted to feel free and liberated to what the other girls feel.

What was the location of your shoot and why did you choose it?

Nature! I love being in the ocean!!! My boudoir shoot was on Sunshine Coast at Coolum Beach.

How did you feel preparing for the session?

I was very nervous and anxious.

What was it like to be naked/ half-naked in front of the camera?

Nerve-racking but there was a moment when i flash my boobs to the whole ocean and screamed!!! Then I giggled a lot because I couldn't believe I did it.

How did you feel after the session?
There was no doubt that the shoot made me feel super happy.

What have you thought when you saw your images for the first time?

I just cried. The reasons is that I know that it's me but i see myself in a dark light. Marina manages to put a spark into my light.

Would you do it again?

Yes, of course!

Would you recommend a boudoir shoot to other women/men and why?
Yes, to capture memories of yourself or with your loved ones.

Do you have any tip for women/men who is planing to do a boudoir shoot?

Do it for YOU.
