Brand Ambassador Alicia
In November 2018 I was looking for five women, 30+, with no modelling experience to become my Brand Ambassadors for 2019.
I have received 36 applications from amazing women who shared their stories with me. Some of them I have met in person for a chat to see if we are a good match. It wasn't an easy decision to only choose five. Now that I have worked with all five I can say with certainty that I have made the right choice. I have found five fabulous women - five different personalities - I was looking for.
Funny enough, all of the Brand Ambassadors have chosen to be photographed in nature. I love to shoot boudoir in nature! It wasn't a very popular choice for my clients until then, as you know I create the boudoir sessions tailored for my clients. So I was super excited about all those new boudoir sessions in nature.
First thing I started to create mood boards for each brand ambassador according to their wishes. I would get the inspirations for their shoot from our long conversations where I had the chance to get to know each woman a little bit better. After the Brand Ambassadors approved their mood boards and we agreed on the type of the location they are feeling connected most I would do the location scouting for appropriate outdoor location around Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast.
Though all five boudoir sessions were in nature, they couldn't have been more different.
One of my Brand Ambassadors is Alicia. When I was reading Alicia's application I felt connected to her straight away! After our meeting, we both decided that we would love to work together.
Alica's positive and joyful attitude towards life is simply contagious. It was so much pleasure to work with Alica and photograph her boudoir session in nature.
