Stepping in front of the camera

I often get asked if I’ve ever had my own boudoir photos take. Yay answer is - yes! Many times and I loved everything about it!

My friend Silke, who is not just a photographic artist herself but also used to be my mentor, was visiting me in Brisbane. I asked her to take my boudoir pictures. It is around seven years now since I had my last boudoir pictures taken.

The session was entertaining! It made me nostalgic, in light of the fact that it reminded me of the time we used to live in the same town… Anyway, in the beginning, it was weird to have someone else doing my job! Suddenly, I became shy,  then I got the irrational thoughts and doubts about my body…But  Silke is an amazing photographer, she made me calm down and relax. I enjoyed all of the session as usual and I love the outcomes!

I think it is critical for each photographer to experience what their customers are experiencing. Every time it makes me look at the entire process from a different point and helps to understand my clients much better. Well, that are the benefits I have got out of my boudoir session in addition to excellent boudoir pictures.
