To see yourself through loving eyes

My boudoir photo session with Marina has marked a “before and after”, that is to say, a huge difference in the way I see myself.

After many years feeling, not ugly but neither pretty, like a baby girl instead of a woman, and feeling not sexy at all but “dirty” or “exaggeratedly provocative”; the idea of having that sort of image of myself was a real challenge to me.

I really wanted to do it - to prove to myself that after some years of personal growth and group therapy, I was able to see myself as a real-sexy-confident woman. But I was Scared!!!!

Marina is not only an exceptional photographer but also a lovely person. She made me feel so comfortable and even made me laugh to feel relaxed. It was so fun. I was not sure about the results though; I mean of course about the way I will see myself in the image; I really enjoy the session. It was itself a great and personal growth experience.

The day we met to watch the images, was amazing; full of different feelings.

The first time I watched them I was kind of horrified, all my fears, my bad feelings about myself came back. But after watching them three, four, five … times everything started to change.

I started to see myself not “dirty”, next time even pretty, the following one …. Sexy!!

And at the end I could not stop watching them, I could not still believe that woman in the images was me, but yes, it was me.

I AM this sexy and confident woman, even if sometimes it is so hard to realize.

I am so happy and grateful to Marina, that I have allowed her to show any of my images and share my story with all women or men that need a little encouragement to see themselves as they really are.
