I wanted somewhere unique for my shoot

Carmen is one of my brand ambassadors.When we met for her pre-session consultation she showed me images that she loved and we used them as an inspiration. Carmen had a specific look in mind and we both started looking for a hotel room or an airbnb to fit the theme. After a while she found a lovely airbnb in Beachmont. The highlight of the place was the bathroom with a bathtub and a spectacular view.

Here is what Carmen shares about her story and her boudoir experience.

‘The Boudoir shoot was for my many years of hard work and dedication to myself but also to share my story in the hope it will touch who needs it and help them grow to their potential.....

My story.....growing up body image was something I held high in my life....From bulimia - in the need to keep slim and look a certain way so I felt beautiful as such, to falling pregnant with my 1st son realising I couldn't continue my ways and had to make a change.....that's where fitness came into my life. Sending myself off for tuition in cert 3 and 4 in Fitness to create a new healthy body that was no longer an unhealthy body.... also expanded to helping others through fitness with their own body image concerns. Fitness and eating well became a way of life for me - just like cleaning your teeth, to which I am so grateful - not only for the knowledge for a healthy body but it also brought a healthy mind and soul as well.

I wanted somewhere unique for my shoot as that is most likely what others would describe me as. Choosing a location and bits and pieces was fun. I thought I'd be nervous naked in front of the lens but it was definitely more a sense of calmness but excitement all rolled into one.

Posing whilst picturing in your mind what the images would like to then seeing the images was definitely beyond expectations.

I wouldn't hesitate to experience the shoot all over again...I think it is definitely an experience women and men alike should embrace for themselves, creating beautiful memories to hold a lifetime.
