Boudoir - An Adventure

Boudoir Session

Relaxing, fun, new, exciting… These adjectives and many more describe the experience I had when posing for Marina during a boudoir photoshoot. Despite never having done a shoot like this one I felt very comfortable and relaxed due to the fact that we did it in my home and that Marina gave very good instructions about how to pose. Though we did not have enough time to use all the places she imagined, yet I am super happy with the result.

Not only was the boudoir session itself an adventure but also the preparations beforehand. I went shopping a couple of times trying to figure out which outfit suits me best and which I feel most comfortable in. With the help of a friend, I ended up buying several different pieces that I love and that I feel sexy, yet comfortable in. Looking at all these pieces, I learnt that it is not about how someone else perceives you but that you need to feel comfortable and then the rest falls into place.

The pictures turned out really well and I am glad Marina asked me to pose for her. Thank you for your time and effort you put into it.

1 -What makes you feel amazing?

Sports. I love to do track and field, swim and play sand volleyball. Being active wipes negative thoughts off my mind. Staying in shape and being active makes me feel good about myself.

2 -What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

Living in China for one year.

3 -Share 5 things you like about yourself?

Tough question... I like my freckles, my curls, my hair colour, my eye colour, and my butt.

4 -Tell me a little about your life.

I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, and am living there again at the moment. During my high school and college years, I spent 5 years in the United States and in one year in China.

I love to travel and love to do sports. Track and field is my passion but I also run a lot and play sand volleyball. Being surrounded by my family and friends is very important to me and I do not ever want to miss them.

5 -What in your life are you most grateful for?

The support of my family and friends. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am now.

6 -What is your happiest memory?

The moment I saw my family and friends again after I came back from the States.

7 - If six year old you was here right now, what would you say to her?

Do everything the way I did it in the past 20 years.
