Boudoir Session during Holidays

Miss K was recently visiting Brisbane and on the last day of her holidays, we organized her boudoir shoot. It wasn’t planned at all, however, the timing was just perfect. As she and her partner celebrated their 13th anniversary on February 5th. Though a boudoir session is all about empowering women there is nothing wrong with utilizing the end result as a very personal gift for your partner.

Please meet Miss K.

What makes you feel amazing?

Creating art makes me feel amazing.

What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

I am a full-time layout editor at a big publishing house and an amateur artist.  In August 2014 I took a challenge to draw five portraits in three days without knowing if I am capable of it. It was a big deal for me. Not because of the royalty but of the responsibility and my reputation.  A special edition of a well-known newspaper with about 20,000 runs with my drawings of 5 incredibly famous people on the cover page.  I am glad I took the challenge. To date, about 25 of my illustrations including 5 cover pages were published.

One day I hope to be a full-time artist.

Tell me a little about your life.

I love music and art, do not enjoy small talk and being approached by strangers, but enjoy watching people. It helps a lot with drawing portraits. I am blessed with amazing colleagues and great work environment. I have a wonderful and loving partner. I don’t leave the house without my headphones.

What in your life are you most grateful for?

I am grateful for the people in my life – my partner and my family.

What is your happiest memory?

It is hard to pick just one. I have a lot of wonderful and happy moments in my memories.

I would like to share a story, which I believe, is being significant in my life. I was visiting my grandparents during my school holidays. My granddad organized a lot of fun activities for my brother and me, every day something new. We went to a museum and zoo, did some handicraft work together. One day we were waiting for a tram and I asked him: “Where are we going? “ He said: “ Today we are going to the end of the line, not many are going so far.”

You are on the right track! Keep going.
